📦 Efficient Use of Packaging Materials

We are actively reducing plastic usage and optimizing packing materials. As part of our commitment:
✅ Only 43.3% of our packaging contains virgin plastics
✅ We have cut virgin plastic usage in packaging to 34.9%

🚛 Minimizing Plastic in Inbound Freight

We prioritize paper-based packaging for inbound freight and reuse materials whenever possible.
📍 Example: In our Ede sample warehouse, shredded cardboard boxes are repurposed instead of discarded.

♻️ Reusing & Recycling Outbound Packaging

For outbound shipments, we maximize the reuse of packaging materials.
✅ Our goal: 100% of outbound packaging to be either recycled or FSC-certified
✅ More sustainable packaging made from natural, recycled materials or bioplastics

🔄 Recycling Plastic Packaging

When plastic packaging cannot be reused, we:
♻️ Recycle it internally or
🏭 Transfer it to a third-party recycling facility (a practice in place since 2010)

📖 Sustainable Paper Promotional Materials

To reduce paper waste, we use sustainable or certified recycled paper for catalogs and promotional materials.
📌 2020-2021: Introduced digital catalogs to reduce print usage
📌 2022: Offered both digital & print versions, noting a decline in demand for printed catalogs
📌 Moving forward: Evaluating paper usage to further enhance sustainability

🌍 Reducing CO₂ Emissions

We are committed to lowering carbon emissions by:
🚢 Optimizing container loading (94% efficiency) to reduce inbound freight CO₂ output
📦 Partnering with eco-conscious forwarders to cut emissions from outbound shipments
