Mustang Advertising Trading LLC began with one person and one conviction. On 10 October 2007, Lenny Joseph Ferreira founded the company in Dubai, setting out to build a branding and gifting business that did the hard parts itself rather than brokering them out. Nearly two decades later, that same conviction runs through a group of brands, a working Dubai production floor, and a team that has stayed together through the hardest years the region has faced.

2010, Founded Mustang Advertising Trading LLC in dubai, UAE

Dubai was accelerating. Businesses were multiplying, events were growing in scale, and demand for branded materials, corporate gifts and printing was rising with them. Into that market, Lenny founded Mustang Advertising Trading LLC — not as another intermediary reselling other workshops’ output, but as a business that intended to build genuine capability of its own.

The early years were about proving a model. Corporate buyers were used to fragmented supply: one vendor for printing, another for gifts, another for uniforms, each adding a margin and a layer of distance from the actual work. Lenny’s bet was that a company willing to invest in its own production and coordination could serve those buyers better — with tighter quality, honest timelines, and a single point of accountability. That bet has defined every decision since.

From advertising to personalised gifting

In 2020, Lenny extended the business into personalised gifting, launching what would become the Printshop4me brand. This was a deliberate step toward real production capability — investing in equipment and skilled people so that products could be customised and branded directly, in-house, rather than depending on third parties for every job.

It was a formative move. Personalised gifting demands precision, fast turnaround, and the ability to handle both small bespoke runs and larger corporate volumes. Building that capability taught the business how to run production as a discipline: how to schedule machinery, control quality, manage materials, and hold to deadlines. Those lessons became the operational foundation the entire group now stands on.

The 2020 pandemic tested every small business in the UAE. Events were cancelled, offices emptied, and much of the corporate spending that drives the branding industry paused overnight. For many companies in the sector, it was a period of retreat and layoffs.

For Mustang, the personalised gifting side of the group saw significant growth during this period. That growth helped sustain the company’s cashflow and protect wages at a time when many businesses were forced to cut back. Keeping the team intact through the downturn was not a small thing — it meant that when the market recovered, Mustang recovered with its skills, its relationships and its production capability fully intact, rather than having to rebuild from scratch.

It was a defining lesson for Lenny: a business built on real capability and a committed team is more resilient than one built on thin margins and outsourced everything. That lesson now shapes how the group approaches risk, growth and its responsibility to its people.

Scaling, with brands
Over the years, what started as a single Dubai venture grew into a group of complementary brands. Each was built to serve a distinct market while drawing on the shared strength of the group’s Dubai production and sourcing capability:

  • Printshop4me — personalised gifting, now with real operating entities in the UAE, Australia, Hongkong and the USA.
  • NENOUSH — a modest activewear brand.
  • Impresomatic — Supplier of printing machines and consumeables.

The logic behind the group structure is the same logic that founded the company: keep capability in-house, let each brand speak clearly to its own audience, and give clients the benefit of a single production and sourcing backbone behind all of them.

Lenny’s operating philosophy
Lenny’s approach to building the business can be summed up in a few principles that show up everywhere across the group. Own your production, so quality and timelines stay in your control. Keep coordination close to the client, so communication is fast and accountability is clear. Source intelligently, so you can supply far more than you manufacture alone. And build systems — increasingly, automated ones — that let a focused team deliver far more than its size would suggest.

What comes next?
The same thinking now drives the group’s expansion. From its UAE base, Mustang is deepening its position across the GCC, developing sourcing and export capability — including manufacturing contacts in India for jute, cotton and leather goods — and building genuine international presence through its entities in Australia and the USA. Beyond that lie African markets with strong freight links to the UAE, and Western markets including Canada.

Through all of it, the founding conviction holds: serve corporate buyers better by owning the hard parts, staying accountable, and building a business resilient enough to keep its people and its promises through any conditions.
